On the afternoon of October 21st, the Sugon Ruiyi Education Cooperation Center and the College of International Economics and Management of BTBU held a meeting at Comprehensive Building, Beijing Technology and Business University. Mr. Xie Ou, General Manager of the center, and Deputy General Manager Lin Ying had a friendly discussion with Xu Dandan, Dean of the Graduate College and Executive Dean of the College of International Economics and Management, Zheng Yanting, Deputy Dean of the College of International Economics and Management, Xiong Haitao, Director of the Department of Big Data Management and Application, Di Yuna and Chen Lili, Director of the Department of International Business Management and Director of the “Belt and Road” Joint Training Center.
At the meeting, Dean Xu Dandan gave a comprehensive introduction to the College of International Economics and Management. Director Xiong Haitao introduced the major construction, core goals, major characteristics, enrollment, etc. of the Big-data management and application major, and Director Di Yuna introduced the “Belt and Road” joint training center, financed by China Association for Science and Technology （CAST）and recent activities of the training center. She expressed the desire to cooperate with the Digital @ B&R Double Hundred Universities Cooperation Program .
Mr. Xie Ou and Ms. Lin Ying introduced the overall development of the “The Digital @ B&R Double Hundred Universities Cooperation Program” and the “Data@China Hundred Universities Project” and the future plan of the two projects.
Both party agree to put forward the in-depth cooperation of “The Digital @ B&R Double Hundred Universities Cooperation Program” and the “Belt and Road” joint training center, based on big data as basic subject. The advantages of both are outstanding and it would be complementary advantages that if the cooperation would be achieved . Dean Xu plans to apply for the “Data@China Hundred Universities Project” as the started point.
